The Closer Walk is not a Walk to Emmaus, but a Cursillo-based experience
as developed by the members of the Mesquite Country Christian Community.
Please be aware that when you submit the application available below,
that you are signing your pilgrim up for a Mesquite Country Closer Walk
rather than a Walk to Emmaus.

The desire of our hearts is to minister to those seeking
a closer walk with Jesus.

We now have an online application, and this is the preferred way to submit an application.
Printed forms are still available - there is a link at the bottom of this page.
You may find it convenient to have your pilgrim complete the form
so you will have the information to enter online.

A COMPLETE APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED!

There are several "glitches" in the online application system right now.

It will not let you select Married and then choose that the spouse has not been on a Walk. Just put that the spouse has been on a Walk. We don't use this information anyway.

The T-shirt size and smoking preferences do not save correctly. Please enter your pilgrim's shirt size and smoking preference in the Sponsor's Comments box.

The payment options screen is not yet available. You may go to www.mesquitecountry.org and pay with PayPal, you may mail a check to MCCC; c/o Brenda Hammond, 512 E 13th St., Colorado City, TX 79512, or you may deliver your check personally to Brenda Hammond or Gina Jones. Just let me know which method you are going to use to pay by entering that information in one of the comment boxes.

It is NOT necessary to complete a written application if you submit one online.
You may pay the deposit and/or total Walk fee online, mail it, or deliver it personally to the Registrar (Brenda Hammond) or the Treasurer (Gina Jones).

Pilgrim order will be determined by timestamp when application was entered online. Submitting a written application personally or by mail will delay that process.

If you cannot submit the form online, the Registrar will do it for you.

Total Walk fee is $135. A deposit of at least $67.50 should accompany application.
This fee is refundable and transferable. Make your check payable to:

Please do not register unless you can be present for the entire weekend.
